Day 106 Revd Tim Heaton’s Thought for the Day

Whilst the human race has been preoccupied with coronavirus there have been constant reminders that the world is much bigger than us.

The sun has risen every morning, bang on cue. Spring has given way to summer. The tadpoles have hatched, turned into frogs, and climbed out of the pond. The pheasant has had chicks.

The broad beans I sowed on 1st March are plants four feet high and bearing gifts. Pages of the calendar have been torn away by time, and the world just keeps on turning.
